Privacy and Confidentiality Policy

TFSS respects the protection of personal information and privacy rights of all individuals and is committed to ensuring that the Board of Directors, all managers and employees working at TFSS comply at all times with their obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles 2014 and the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 No 133 (NSW).

Our Privacy and Confidentiality Policy summarises the standards of privacy and confidentiality applicable at TFSS. It is to be used as a guide by managers and employees to set up and maintain systems and procedures that promote ethical and professional conduct.

Equal Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion Policy

This Equal Opportunity, Diversity and Inclusion Policy summarises the EEO standards applicable at TFSS. It is to be used as a guide by managers and employees to set up and maintain systems and procedures that promote fairness and equity in the workplace. 

This policy aims to provide TFSS employees with an understanding of the organisation's obligations under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). It also identifies employee’s responsibilities in maintaining a safe workplace that is free from discrimination, harassment and facilitates mutual respect. TFSS also acknowledge that eliminating discrimination from the workplace is good business practice as it helps build a positive and productive work environment.

Reconciliation Action Plan - RAP

Tamworth Family Support (TFSS) takes the vision of Reconciliation Australia seriously. We believe in a just, equitable and reconciled Australia and we work towards that in a number of ways. Our organisation provides a range of facilities and programs that are designed to engage with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in Tamworth. Also, of importance is our commitment to the employment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our organisation and to providing an environment in which our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and clients feel valued, acknowledged and listened too.
