TFSS is becoming Sora Community Services.

Starting from Jan 2025, Tamworth Family Support Service (TFSS) will be rebranded and operating as Sora Community Services.

While our name is changing, our dedication to supporting the community remains the same.

Why the change?

Over the years, our organisation and services have expanded beyond Tamworth, prompting the need for a new name that better reflects who we are. To capture the full scope of our services, we’ve chosen a name that aligns with our mission and supports the diverse communities that we serve, without limiting us to a specific region or service.

The story behind the name.

The name Sora is inspired by the sky, symbolising the vast open spaces of our region, often called ‘Big Sky Country’. Our new logo features a star, representing integrity and a guiding light.

Together, these elements reflect limitless possibilities and our commitment to providing quality support and care for individuals, families, and our wider community.

What is changing?

As we approach January 2025, you will start to see changes in our communications that reflect our new name and brand identity. During our transition period, you may see co-branding (both the TFSS and Sora logo) on uniforms, documents, invoices, and emails. From January 2025 onwards we will only use our new Sora branding.

What isn’t changing?

Our mission, staff, services, and locations remain the same. We are still the same organisation you can rely on for high-quality community care and support. We are operating as usual during the transition period.

• All key contact numbers will remain the same.
• Bank account numbers remain the same, however the Account Name will change to reflect our new name; Sora Community Services Ltd.
• Our email addresses will change down the line, but any communication sent to our old emails will automatically be redirected.
• Our website and design will also be updated in the future, however, any references to our old pages will automatically redirect to our new website.
• We are striving to make this transition as smooth as possible and welcome suggestions or feedback from our partners and stakeholders.
